This role keeps Thrive’s daily operations running smoothly while helping us understand and plan our financial future. You’ll handle the administrative and financial tasks that keep the organization healthy.
You don’t need to be a CPA, just someone who’s comfortable with numbers, organized by nature, and energized by creating order.
Maintain accurate financial records, receipts, and documentation
Track income, expenses, and reimbursements
Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries
Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning
Manage vendor accounts, subscriptions, and payments
Keep administrative files, calendars, and records organized
Assist with scheduling, paperwork, and general office coordination
Streamline administrative workflows
Identify opportunities to improve clarity and efficiency
Support leadership with special projects and operational needs
The office runs smoothly and predictably
Financial information is accurate, timely, and easy to understand
Leadership always knows where things stand
Administrative tasks feel organized and under control

On‑site at Thrive’s Philadelphia location
Office‑based with occasional community events
Hands‑on, mission‑driven, and team‑focused
This role begins with a short paid trial period: 6–12 weeks at 20 hours per week, $18–$22/hour, depending on experience. Expectations are clear, and progress is reviewed regularly.
Top performers transition into a salaried position with increased hours and growing responsibility. Final salary is determined based on performance, role scope, and organizational needs at that time.
