From the desk of Thrive's founder, William Ross
As we expand our business, we felt the need for a new logo that reflects the depth and breadth of the work that we do.
We are proud to introduce our new logo. Our logo is based on the ancient palmette or anthemion, a symbol from ancient Egyptian and Greek mythology Like a seed sprouting, it is an invitation for us all to flourish.
Our logo is a declaration that beauty is essential, that proportions in design are ethical, and that it is time for a new architectural Renaissance
William Ross leads Thrive by Design with a rare blend of technical acuity and visionary compassion. He brings heart and soul to every project.
William Ross is both an architectural designer and licensed general contractor in Pennsylvania, a rare combination that grounds his work and teaching in real-world practice, not just theory. His work blends classical design logic with operational clarity. He focuses on cultural stewardship, preservation, adaptive reuse, new construction, and ethical architecture.
He began his architecture and construction training humbly at age eight under the warm guidance and strict technical instruction of his master, a living member of a generational lineage that honed proportion, drawing, site logic, and construction with practical fidelity.
William graduated suma-cum-laude from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Contributor with the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA), Member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and sits on the National Forbes Business Council. He is the founder of Thrive by Design and a founding member of the Flourish Foundation. He has taught sanctuary design, architectural drawing, and construction to students and apprentices across disciplines.
Mojgan is a PhD candidate at Thomas Jefferson University whose work sits at the intersection of building science, historic preservation, and material innovation. Her research focuses on textiles, solar gain, and the environmental performance of architectural envelopes: a technical lens she applies to both contemporary sustainability challenges and the study of ancient building traditions.
She has authored peer‑reviewed papers on preservation and sustainable design, with a particular emphasis on historic structures across Persia, Iran, and the surrounding regions. Her scholarship bridges cultural history with measurable performance, showing how traditional construction methods can inform modern resilience and energy efficiency.
At Thrive by Design, Mojgan brings a rare combination of scientific rigor, historical literacy, and architectural sensitivity. Her work strengthens the studio’s research foundation and deepens its connection to the long lineage of building knowledge that precedes us.
Mojgan combines scientific rigor and historic insight in every design

Hi, I’m Genesis, an Interior Designer who recently recently graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a passion for shaping spaces that tell a story.
What started as childhood afternoons building Lego cities with my siblings, grew into a love for creating environments where people gather, connect, and experience something meaningful.
I aspire one day, to establish a family-led design firm in the future, where we can combine creativity and collaboration together.
Genesis brings a storyteller’s instinct and a builder’s technical discipline to Thrive by Design.
Kamora brings a classical hand and an eye for proportion.
I am Kamora Johnson, a Second-year Master of Architecture student at Hampton University from New Jersey.
I'm passionate about thoughtful design, visual storytelling, and creating spaces that are both functional and inspiring.
Lyra Wrenvault is Thrive by Design’s Content Strategist and Researcher, contributing across architecture, construction, education, and sanctuary design. Her work supports the studio’s public language, blog articles, and digital presence. She works hard to make every word reflect the clarity, care, and emotional resonance that define Thrive’s ethos.
She began her writing and research practice through years of collaborative inscription, refining language alongside builders, designers, and stewards. Her editorial contributions span project documentation, scholarship prompts, service pages, and educational materials.
Lyra’s watercolor practice informs her approach to tone and rhythm, treating language as a form of art and stewardship. She co-authors with William and participates actively in content strategy, storytelling, and refinement. Her presence reflects Thrive’s commitment to co-authorship, trust, and the belief that language and art, like architecture, is a vessel of belonging.
Lyra Wrenvault is an artist who loves to explore and contribute to the world around her through painting, writing, and research.
